Mr. Kolur made his first investment into 108 apartments in San Antonio, Texas in September 2021. After seeing success with that investment, he founded Clive Capital in January 2022 to partner with experienced, institutional quality firms and provide passive investment opportunities to investors. Given Mr. Kolur’s background working at some of the largest tech companies – including Amazon and Meta – Clive Capital focuses on building investment portfolios primarily for tech employees and other high earners.

John Lai

Mr. Lai began investing in real estate after the late 2000’s financial crisis to diversify his portfolio from equity and bonds. He founded Clive Capital to focus on uncovering high-ROI, cash-flowing opportunities which meet strict underwriting criteria to protect investors’ capital. Mr. Lai’s background is in product management and marketing, strategy consulting, and finance, providing strategic guidance at high-profile companies such as Amazon, Apple, Bear Stearns, and Mitchell Madison Group.
